On Sunday, March 3rd, Aspen Ice and the New Jersey Freeze hosted a special event for kids with special needs to come learn how to skate.
NJ Freeze hockey players paired up with kids from SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Programs) to share their love of skating
with their buddies for the day.
SNAP runs sports clinics for kids with disabilities to provide opportunities for "children teaching children."
Aspen Ice and the Freeze were happy to work with SNAP today to raise awareness of disabilities and create a culture of acceptance of all children.
The smiles all around were priceless.
